'From two vineyards in the Eden Valley, both clocking in at over 100 years old, and doesn’t it smell that way too. Opened with a fair whiff of truffle and tinned corn, but left alone to breathe for a good while, it looked a whole lot better. Blackcurrant and blackberry, sage oil, sweet brown spices and truffle. Medium bodied, deep and flowing, with silky dense packed tannin, cool acidity, and fresher red fruits emerging on a long and spicy, damp earth and truffle-laden finish. Eden Valley Shiraz fanciers should be all over this.'
