'Honeydew and dark cherry dominate on a site-typical nose and luscious, subtly creamy palate. Hints of oiliness, and a glycerol glaze, point toward very slight botrytis. There is a shimmering sense of interaction with wet stone in the satisfyingly sustained, pleasantly loose finish of this subtly sweet Spätlese. As it happens, this harbors the same adeptly integrated 41 grams of residual sugar as the collection’s Doctor Kabinett.'
