'Good bright red. Deep red and black fruit aromas are complemented by notes of iron, tobaccco leaf and earth. A step up in thickness from the village wines from Morey but with harmonious acidity giving definition to the middle palate. Offers an attractive balance of sweetness, acidity and tannins and finishes with good persistence. Made from millerandé grapes planted in 1947 and the early '50s.'
