'Vivid straw-yellow. Intense floral and lemon aromas are followed by flavors of yellow apple and tangerine. Laser-like acidity is almost painful to the tooth enamel, but vibrant citrus fruits help the wine dance along the palate. It strikes me as a successful Riesling Cuvée Albert. In fact, it’s atypically Germanic in style; had I tasted it blind, I would have said Ruwer, not Alsace.'
